HS Boys Captains Practice

2026 CAPTAINS PRACTICE REGISTRATION IS LIVE!

Open to all players entering grades 10–12 who intend to try out for the 2026–27 Boys High School Hockey Team.

PROGRAM DETAILS

8 Weeks of Training | 3 Sessions per Week | 75-Minute Sessions

• Approximately 31.25 hours of total ice time
• Practices will typically be held Sunday evenings and Wednesday/Thursday, with one weekday session after school and one in the evening
• Coach-led practices focused on skill development, hockey concepts, and game-like/scrimmage play
• The proposed schedule is below. Please note that dates and times are subject to change as fall ice schedules are finalized.

REGISTRATION FEE & PAYMENT

Payment must be received prior to your player's first ice session on September 20, 2026. Players may only participate once payment has been received.

SCHEDULING & COMMUNICATION

We will be using Crossbar for all Captains Practice scheduling and schedule updates.

As the Association and Girls High School schedules are finalized this fall, we anticipate there may be minor adjustments to the proposed schedule. Players and families are responsible for monitoring Crossbar for schedule changes and updates.

PLAYER CONDUCT & SAFETY

Our goal is to provide a safe, competitive, and productive environment for all players. Players are expected to demonstrate appropriate conduct and respect for teammates, coaches, and others on the ice.

Any behavior that is unsafe, disruptive, or puts another player at risk may result in the player being removed from that day's session.

• First incident: Player may be removed from the ice for the remainder of the session.
• Second incident: A meeting with the Booster Club and/or coaching staff will be required before the player may return.
• Third incident: The player may be removed from Captains Practice for the remainder of the program without refund.

IMPORTANT REMINDER

Participation in Captains Practice is completely optional and does not guarantee a roster position for the 2026–27 Boys High School Hockey season.

Captains Practice is a preseason training opportunity and is separate from the official high school hockey registration and tryout process.
